We have our own in-house Consular trained team, headed up by our Consular Operations Director John Morgan, comprised of Consular specialists and former Diplomats. As a member, we aim to answer all inquiries within 20 seconds and assign your emergency to a dedicated member of staff who will remain, whenever possible, the same point of contact throughout the life of any case.

We deal with all cases in line with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and will always be guided by industry best practice in every situation.

Included time as part of the membership to contact us before or during travel to ask consular related queries about their trip; such as visa issues, local customs, local cultural and protocol norms.
A dedicated consular specialist advisor with at least 3-5 years specialist experience in consular and travel advisory work.
Access to the former diplomats who have the expertise to help in logistics and welfare cases such as an accident, medical issues, visa and passport problems, robberies, and other holiday nightmares.
Access to additional services such as use of our global network of in-territory agents; diplomatic and consular pre-travel briefings; and access to former diplomats who have specialist consular related skills such as in detention, incarceration, death, lost travel documents, visa issues and missing people.
Confidential and sympathetic call line for vulnerable staff members such as LGBTQ, women, disabled, ethnic works, first time travellers, older workers and unmarried partners. In house training session on a consular related topic per annum.
Quarterly Management Information about the number and types of calls that your staff are making to our service. This information will help to improve your training; expose gaps in your staffs travel knowledge and thus will improve the quality of your business.

Cost Containment
With longstanding partnerships with cost containers in the most popular destinations across the globe, our 24-hour consular emergency assistance service is uniquely positioned to consider cost and negotiate best price.
Further instructions/requests for additional work that you ask us to carry out, which are not in the time limit, will be chargeable on a time spent basis at £950+VAT / 60 minutes. The fee will be advised by the consultant or MorganCCS in writing.

Operational Office
Our operations office is based in both the UK and South Africa and provides emergency advice and assistance to travellers in all major languages.
Our linguistic capability of your staff enables us to manage your customer’s emergency assistance without delay whilst ensuring that claimants are provided with a decision on cover as soon as possible.

In-Territory Agents and Consular Specialists
MorganCCS carries out services globally using our ever-expanding global network, of consular trained and former diplomatic staff to provide assistance direct to the traveller on the ground when a crisis occurs. This is at an additional cost:-

IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO EXPERTS WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN ALL FIELDS OF CONSULAR WORK COUPLED WITH A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOCAL CUSTOMS AND CULTURES OF THE COUNTRIES THEY COVER.
In-Territory Agent – GBP £1,500 per day ex VAT and any third-party costs.

Management Information
Our standard monthly/quarterly reports provides Management Information based on our customers’
needs. We are able to provide the following:
Call Statistics – Number of calls lost, average calls answered times;
Case Volumes – These are provided automatically at the end of the month, providing claimants’ details, claim type, incident country, etc;

We strive to meet individual business requirements and are able to provide additional reports if desired. Our consular case management system is also accessible via a web- portal for you to view and download documents and information at any time.

Consular Assistance Includes:

• Real-time incident management by our experienced consular staff.
• Interaction with the local authorities to resolve the common consular issues you may face overseas.
• Liaising with friends, families, and employers to ensure consistent communication with all parties.
• Providing legal referral and appointments.
• Referral to translation services.
• Advice to next of kin.
• Liaising with support charities and relevant agencies in consular incidents such as missing, victim of crime, detention and kidnapping cases.
• Discreet handling of assault cases, as well as integration back into home support services on return.
• Quick engagement with immigration and passport services.
